Welcome to Mayil Taxi. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Service Description

Mayil Taxi provides taxi booking and transportation services across Tamil Nadu and neighboring states. Our services include:

• One-way taxi service
• Round-trip taxi service
• Local hourly rentals
• Airport transfers
• Outstation/intercity travel

2. Booking and Confirmation

• All bookings are subject to availability
• Booking confirmation will be sent via SMS, Email, or WhatsApp
• You must provide accurate pickup location, contact details, and travel dates
• Bookings can be made via website, phone, or WhatsApp
• We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion

3. Pricing and Payment

• One-Way: Minimum 130 km billing | Rates: ₹13-23/km depending on vehicle
• Round-Trip: Minimum 250 km billing | Rates: ₹11-21/km depending on vehicle
• Local: Packages from 4 hours/40 km starting ₹1,200
• Driver Bata: ₹400/day included in fare
• Extra Charges: Toll, parking, state permit, and hill station charges are additional
• Payment: Cash, UPI, bank transfer accepted
• Advance: May be required for outstation bookings

4. Cancellation Policy

• Free Cancellation: Up to 2 hours before pickup
• 2 Hours - 30 Minutes Before: 25% cancellation charge
• Less than 30 Minutes: 50% cancellation charge
• No Show: 100% charge applies
• Advance amounts are refundable as per cancellation policy

5. Passenger Responsibilities

• Be ready at the pickup location at scheduled time
• Provide accurate contact information
• Follow driver's instructions for safe travel
• Do not engage in illegal activities in the vehicle
• No smoking, alcohol consumption, or carrying prohibited items
• Respect the driver and vehicle
• Maximum luggage: 2 suitcases + 2 small bags per booking

6. Company Responsibilities

• Provide clean, well-maintained, AC vehicles
• Ensure professional, verified drivers
• Maintain vehicle insurance and permits
• Provide transparent billing
• Ensure safe and timely service

7. Liability and Insurance

• All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance
• We are not liable for loss/damage of personal belongings left in the vehicle
• Passengers are advised to keep valuables with them
• In case of accidents, insurance procedures will apply
• We are not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances

8. Waiting Time

• Airport/Railway: 30 minutes free waiting time
• Other Locations: 15 minutes free waiting time
• Beyond Free Time: ₹100/hour waiting charges apply

9. Route Changes

• Route changes during the trip must be communicated to the driver
• Additional charges may apply for significant route deviations
• Driver reserves the right to refuse unsafe route changes

10. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes should be raised within 24 hours of trip completion
• Contact customer support for resolution
• Disputes will be resolved amicably through discussion

11. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
